The Shepherd’s Corner is fortunate to operate from Trinity Farm in Pataskala, Ohio. Trinity Farm is a 28-acre full service boarding and training facility that has been serving the equestrian community since 1988. The facility offers acres of gently rolling grass pasture and ample space (both indoor and out) to handle/re-school rescued horses as they progress toward healing and re-homing. The owner/trainer, staff and regular boarders of this unique farm universally support the mission and horse care standards of The Shepherd’s Corner.
The barn has twelve 10’ x 10’ stalls in the main aisle, a small tack room and an apartment that houses a full time staff member of Trinity Farm. Currently, The Shepherd’s Corner occupies two large (@12” x 16’) stalls located quietly out of the main aisle of this busy barn, and three “spots” in the pastured area of the facility. Also available to the rescue are several fields partition-able from the main pasture for use as quarantine or restricted turnout for new rescues and horses on the mend.
Trinity Farm recently added approximately 450 square feet onto the north side of the barn for use as the hay storage and feed area. The ‘old’ hay and feed room is undergoing renovation to serve as classroom, meeting space and tack room - all available, by agreement, to The Shepherd’s Corner.
